Evisort supports risk management and improving operational efficiency across legal contract environments and we are happy to report that Evisort achieved compliance with the relevant trust services criteria through a successful passing of SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 security audits. This verifies that Evisort manages our customer’s data in the most secure, safe and proactive way, even for the most regulated industries.
Service organization control (SOC) audits are performed by certified public accountants and their criteria are based on the “trust services” categories laid out by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). To receive our clearance as a secure service, our SOC 2 Type II report and SOC 3 report were conducted by an independent CPA firm covering the time period from October 1, 2019, to March 30, 2020. The primary difference between a SOC 2 and SOC 3 report is that the latter is meant to be narrower in scope and can be widely shared. Download a copy of our SOC 3 report here.
SOC 2 Type II adheres to the highest security availability processing integrity
Evisort takes information security seriously, holding itself to the highest standards of processing integrity confidentiality for our customers’ data. We recognize the greater importance of SOC 2 Type II as it looks to the design controls and their operational efficacy. Here are ways companies can meet the control objectives of this level of compliance.
- Continuous monitoring of ALL activity as any change can become a security threat
- Quickly identify real threats from ongoing system bells and whistles
- Establish audit trails to immediately determine the time and cause of any security issue
- Have a plan to immediately block and fix any issue and prevent any recurrence
Evisort builds relationships on mutual trust
“Security is our number one priority as we’re trusted by global organizations to manage their most important legal documents. We don’t take the privilege of that trust lightly and will continue investing in industry-leading security as a core tenant of our product.” Jerry Ting, CEO, and Founder of Evisort
As a SaaS company that handles sensitive data for medium and enterprise organizations alike, it is imperative for Evisort to stay as current as possible in its data security and privacy measures. Passing SOC audits is one way in which we assure our customers that we have the appropriate systems in place.
